When Nicobobinus is magically turned to gold he and his wild best friend Rosie embark on a musical adventure to discover the Land of Dragons. On the way their friendship, humanity and overall brilliantness are put to the test as they are propelled into a nonstop series of kidnapping pirates, murderous monks and operatic dragons.
Red Ladder Theatre Company’s adaptation of Terry Jones’ much loved children’s tale is hilarious, clever and bursting with cheeky irony. A cast of five actor musicians bring this epic tale to life with original songs, instrumental acrobatics, moving sets and a bucket load of Monty Python-esque wit.
