A beautiful and mysterious version of classic fairytale Hansel and Gretel.
Brother and sister Hansel and Gretel are lost in the woods and they’re so hungry that they could eat a house – so imagine their luck when they come across a house made out of gingerbread and cake.
Sometimes, if you want something badly enough it might just happen, but getting what you want isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be. Inside the very sweet house is a very sour witch. Hansel and Gretel are going to need their wits about them to escape her.
Using puppets, masks, music and film Rossendale’s Horse + Bamboo Theatre Company have baked up a delicious treat of a show for Christmas 2014.
Ages 5+. Running time 95 mins including interval.
