Charlie Cooper is a Manchester based musician who writes songs combining elements of soul and jazz. The Northern Soul songstress delivers unforgettable performances rich in energy and emotion.

Róise

When Róise began sharing intimate, reimagined versions of classic pop songs online, she didn’t expect them to garner millions of likes and an audience captivated by her pure, expressive vocal tone.

Róise brings that same raw intimacy to her debut single Television. Contemplative and thoughtful, the song evokes the familiar feeling of time slipping by while you remain still.

Ben P Williams

The evening will be presented by Manchester based singer-songwriter Ben P Williams, whose songs have seen support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing. Moulding the classic song-writing sound of Paul Simon with the laid-back nature of Jack Johnson, Ben draws inspiration from the greats while injecting his own wit and imagination into lyrics and melodies which can’t help but bring a smile to your face.
