Work Experience
The Met is committed to helping individuals develop their skills and competences.
The Mini Met is The Met’s new artist development programme running from October 2025 to March 2026, supporting emerging creatives based in, or connected to, Bury. The project provides mentoring, public-facing pop-up opportunities, and professional documentation to help artists develop their practice and engage audiences.
If you came along to our launch event – or weren’t able to make it – you’re still very welcome to apply to take part.
We’re looking for emerging artists aged 18+ working across all creative disciplines, including musicians, dancers, writers, performers, visual artists, and interdisciplinary creatives.
Apply here: https://forms.office.com/e/zzWBitZgmE
Deadline to apply: Sunday 9 November, 11.59pm
If you have any questions about the project or the application process, please email education@themet.org.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
We can also arrange a short call with anyone who’d like to discuss their application further – just email in and we can set this up.
Please note: participants must be available for these dates to be eligible for the project.
