Get A Round In brings together the best singer-songwriters for a Nashville style writers’ round.
This regular event at The Met features three artists sharing the stage to showcase their songwriting talent and tell the stories behind their music.
May’s event features…
Steph Fraser

In just six months, Steph Fraser wrote and recorded her debut album with longtime collaborator Jonny Wright. She features on Only Gonna Cry For You, the Jack Savoretti single they co-wrote together in spring 2025, and opened shows across a UK tour for Declan O’Rourke, winning over rooms night after night ahead of her debut album release later this year.
Currently living out of a motorhome – because how else can you survive and tour these days? – Steph sings with a voice that stops people mid-conversation. Raw, restless, and emotionally fearless, her live shows are intimate but unflinching, shaped by years away from the industry and a lifetime of lived experience.
A woman with a van and a slight pigeon obsession, she’s impossible to ignore once you’ve heard her.
Séamus Óg

Séamus Óg is an emerging force within the contemporary folk scene, drawing deeply from his family’s rich musical heritage and strong Irish roots. Raised in a household where music was as essential as the air they breathed. Specialising in guitar and cittern; a resonant, ten-stringed instrument with chiming, layered tones that bring a distinctive texture to his sound, setting him apart within the modern folk landscape.
His 2018 debut album, Best Masala Tea, offered an intimate and raw sound, just guitar, his voice and double bass. Praised on the acclaimed podcast Tangentially Speaking by Dr. Christopher Ryan. With Terry’s Síbín (2022), and ‘Haul The Pots’ (2025), Séamus expanded his palette, capturing the energy of family gatherings and the timeless spirit of Irish folk. The albums earned airplay on BBC and RTÉ, and his powerful live performances have seen him support and share stages with artists like Chris Brain, Brìghde Chaimbeul, Ríoghnach Connolly and Honeyfeet, and Mikey Kenney.
Ben P Williams

The evening will be presented by Manchester based singer-songwriter Ben P Williams, whose songs have seen support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing. Moulding the classic song-writing sound of Paul Simon with the laid-back nature of Jack Johnson, Ben draws inspiration from the greats while injecting his own wit and imagination into lyrics and melodies which can’t help but bring a smile to your face.
