The Mini Met Project: Apply Now
The Mini Met is The Met’s artist development programme for emerging creatives in Bury. Apply now for mentoring, pop-up events, and professional support, running October 2025–March 2026.
Our volunteers primarily support front of house during our events. Main roles include scanning tickets, showing customers to seats, and being a friendly face around the building. Roles can vary depending on the event, but generally all we ask for is a positive attitude and a smile on your face.
Alongside these roles we are also always open to supporting people who wish to volunteer across other areas of the organisation including with our workshop provision for children, young people and adults and within digital roles.
Volunteering is all about helping you develop your skills, support your wellbeing and feelings of connection and enabling you to engage with arts and culture so whatever your interests and availability, we will always endeavour to find something to suit.
To get involved contact Shaun Gibson at shaun.gibson@themet.org.uk or call 0161 761 7107.
