Over 25 years of playing together, Altan have established themselves as one of the most important live acts to play traditional Irish music both in Ireland and on the world stage. They have toured all over the USA and Europe (including two performances at The White House), hosted festivals in Tokyo, featured on an official Irish postage stamp and featured on the soundtrack of the 1997 oscar-winning film Good Will Hunting.
