An evening of the finest folk music in Ramsbottom.

This month’s guest artists are Blackpool acoustic band Troubadour. Troubadour have impressed music fans in such prestigious venues as The Grand Theatre in Blackpool, The Cavern Club in Liverpool and The Luminaire in London. They have shared stages with the likes of Adrian Edmondson and the Bad Shepherds, Levellers, Edwina Hayes and Steve Tilston, and they have been equally well received at festivals up and down the country, including the Fylde Folk Festival and Beautiful Days, alongside such acts as Newton Faulkner, James, Three Daft Monkeys, Bellowhead, Seth Lakeman, Billy Bragg, and the Charlatans.

“The combination of Shanagher’s vocals and multi-instrumentalist, Andrew Bache’s tasteful banjo and harmonica blended together perfectly. An excellent mix of folk and blues.” Acoustic Magazine

“Beguiling songs that channel an earthy rootsiness. An undercurrent of intensity makes for a very contemporary sound”Rock n Reel

Troubadour’s debut studio album, Carnival Town was released in 2010 and has been featured in TV drama Waterloo Road. The band are currently recording their new album, which is due for release later this year.
