The Edwin Street Showcase gives exciting up-and-coming young musicians the chance to get out of the recording booth and onto the stage. Come and experience the next generation of musical talent from Bury!

The Picture House – With their blend of “Indie Alternative Rock” The Picture House have already played gigs at some of Manchester’s most popular and intimate venues such as Dry Bar & The Night and Day Cafe. The band describe themselves as “Four lads with an immense passion for music and a burning desire to succeed”.

Hollywood or Bust – Hollywood Or Bust are a Bury based Indie-Rock band drawing influences from a wide range of genres and artists including; The Vaccines, The Libertines, Nick Cave, White Lies, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys, The Courteeners, Tom Waits, Chuck Berry, Little Anthony, Eddie Cochran, Robert Johnson, Son House and Muddy Waters.

The Versions – The Versions play rock and Britpop, with the occasional dash of roll. They played their debut gig on the top of The Rock, Bury, live on Tower FM then blazed a trail, leaving no Northern town unturned, playing support slots for Hero Syndrome at Satan’s Hollow, reaching the finals of Powersound, and numerous appearances at Designer Magazine gigs in Manchester.

The Rocket – The Rocket are a fun loving and friendly three-piece band with a variety of different set ups from electric to acoustic and ukulele to guitar. Their influences range from Cage the Elephant and Queens of the Stone Age to The Fratellis and Daft Punk.
