Socialist writers have had a huge influence on modern drama and theatre. This challenging course covers Agitprop, Brecht, Unity Theatre, Augusto Boal, Joan Littlewood, Athol Fungard, Banner Theatre and 7:84 amongst others.
At the end of the course students will put their heads together to see if they can construct a piece of socialist theatre of their own using the techniques they have learnt.
Course runs on Tuesdays for 10 weeks starting Tuesday 7 February 2012.
