The Bury Beer Festival returns to The Met and real ale bar Malt this year with over one hundred different cask ales alongside delicious food and fantastic live music.
This year’s festival is taking a traditional approach and putting the main focus on beers brewed in Bury and surrounding areas in the North West. A range of beers from Bury’s own Outstanding Beer Co. will take centre stage surrounded by many other locally brewed beers, and a selection from farther afield.
Visitors will be able to drink and dance, with an exciting mix of live music to treat festival goers on both evenings. Soul and jazz singer, Jerome McMurray, will be playing on Friday evening, and blues and rockability five-piece, The Why And The Wherefores, will do a set on Saturday.
Last year, over 1500 people came down to the 2009 Beer Festival and this year even more are expected to attend. The Beer Festival will run from 12noon to 11pm on the Friday and Saturday.
Tickets on the door only. CAMRA members with a valid membership will be admitted for half price.
