In just eight months Tim Van Eyken and his new band have made a huge impact on the folk world. Their album Stiffs Lovers Holymen Thieves has been acclaimed everywhere from MOJO to The Sun, and they have performed at most of the top UK folk festivals. They topped off an incredible year by picking up the prestigious Best Traditional Track award (for Barleycorn) at the 2007 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
