Tristan Mackay is already making an impact on the music scene following the recent release of his debut album Out Along The Wire. The album went straight to no.1 on the iTunes Blues album chart above such revered artists as Joe Bonamassa, BB King and Eric Clapton. Tristan is now touring the UK with his five piece band to promote the album and his second single Last Love which was released at the beginning of May.
“Mackay is a mixture of James Morrison style vocals and John Mayer style music, with a gentle vocal that matches some of his sparse arrangements superbly. Don’t Let Me In’s opening chords further betray his love of ‘Slowhand’, in a late night ballad that could be a cousin of Wonderful Tonight.”
