The Houghton Weavers mix jokes and anecdotes with raucous traditional songs and ballads. Over the past three decades they have released over thirty albums and appeared on numerous TV and radio programmes, including their own series Sit Thi Deawn.

The band features Tony Berry on vocals, David Littler and Steve Millington on Guitar, Bass, Banjo, Mandolin, Keyboards, Ukulele and Accordion between them.

They come to The Met raising money for the Salford Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage – Children and Families Group.
