The last decade has seen an unprecedented rise in the popularity of the tin-whistle in various folk traditions. Big Whistle Music and The Living Tradition, working in a creative partnership with The Met, now celebrate this music making with The Big Whistle Weekend.

The Big Whistle Weekend will be an occasion where the ‘star’ will be the humble tin whistle itself. The Met will be bringing together outstanding international virtuoso instrumentalists to celebrate the creative potential of this compelling instrument, in both song and instrumental music.

You can buy individual tickets for each evening event or £25 for two nights or go for the whole Big Whistle experience at £35 for three. All tickets allow free entry to the Saturday day events.
