He is also a multi instrumentalist and a renowned authority on traditional Irish Music. He has enjoyed enduring success using the whistle, and traditional Irish music in his primary school with consistent impressive outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to hear Terry’s musical philosophy, enjoy his teaching and also hear an ensemble from his school. More particularly it’s practical opportunity to introduce the whistle into your school’s music making.

There is opportunity to bring pupils who are especially interested in music at this stage who might be inspired to join a workshop aimed for 7-11 year olds on the morning of Saturday 10 May. Otherwise the session will focus on how teaching the whistle in schools can achieve great results.
