A singing workshop with The Sunday Boys, Manchester’s LGBTQ+ low-voiced choir and their founder and Artistic Director Michael Betteridge.

Michael will be joined by a small number of the choir to take you through some simple choral exercises, group singing techniques and you’ll learn some simple 3-part pieces to experience what it’s like to sing as part of an ensemble. No previous experience is required, we just ask you turn up willing to give it a go!

The Sunday Boys was formed by Michael Betteridge in January 2016 to give Manchester an inclusive LGBTQ+ choir for low voice singers (tenor / baritone / bass) in the city to learn to sing great music, perform, and make friends. With a keen focus on commissioning new work, the choir has grown from a small group of individuals to a group of over sixty strong.
