Gather around – a story is starting…
Stories From the Floor is a FREE, open mic storytelling night at The Met, for all those who revel in folklore, myth and legend!
Produced by The League of Curiosity and funded by Culture Bury, this free event welcomes everyone – seasoned storytellers, first-time taletellers, and those who simply love to listen.
Whether your story is heartfelt, hilarious, haunting or completely ridiculous, there’s a place for it here.

✨ Guest storyteller performance

✨ A safe, supportive space where every voice matters
