Celebrating their twenty-first anniversary, St Agnes Fountain have been called the Christmas band for their constantly evolving take on old carols as well as the wealth of new seasonal music they bring each year to their sell-out shows.

The band gives Christmas songs a good, if respectful, kicking. They bring sparkling musicianship, humour and heartfelt renditions of your favourite Christmas tunes both original and those you know so well (or thought you did).

Great musical talent, wit and invention in the form of Chris Leslie (Fairport Convention) and Chris While and Julie Matthews (Radio 2 Folk Award winners). They have brought joy, laughter and a few tears to every concert performance for nearly two decades.

This year after missing out on their twentieth year anniversary tour, Chris, Chris and Julie will be performing as a trio following David’s decision to stop live touring. A new chapter begins for the ‘Aggie’s’

It is the season their legion of fans have been waiting for because, as they say, “Christmas starts with St Agnes Fountain”.
