Explore a desert island, meet pirates and create your own stories of being a castaway!

Anyone aged 5-10 is welcome to join us for this day of creativity, no experience needed, just be ready to make some noise and get active.

Children will:

  • Devise and perform their own scenes
  • Play drama games, learning skills in theatre performance.
  • Improve acting skills in a fully-supported, inclusive environment.
  • Build confidence, have fun and make new friends.

All of this will be delivered in a COVID-safe space with highly trained children’s theatre practitioners.

The day will run 9.30am-4pm with breaks for snacks and lunch (children should bring their own packed lunches).

Places are limited due to COVID restrictions on capacity so please book quickly to secure your place.

Parents are invited to view The Met’s COVID-safe procedures before booking at this link.

If anyone would like to have a chat about the drama day and the measures that we have in place to keep you and your family safe in advance of booking, please email steph.meskellbrocken@themet.org.uk
