To mark Shakespeare’s 450th birthday four of the North’s finest actors come to The Met to take you on a journey through gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, pride, lust and envy.
Featuring vocal harmonies and thrilling stage combat, Shakespeare’s Deadly Sins brings together moments from Shakespeare’s less performed plays and sonnets with scenes from the classics; Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth.
Within Shakespeare’s works, you can find each of the deadly sins in their ultimate form.
Adapted by critically acclaimed writer/producer Conor McKee and directed by two time MEN Theatre Award winner Wyllie Longmore.
