BBC Radio 2 Folk Award nominated Ross Ainslie and BBC Young Musician Award winner Jarlath Henderson have spent years writing and performing as a duo since they first met at the William Kennedy Piping Festival in 2003. They released their debut album Partners in Crime, a groundbreaking fusion of Border and Uilleann pipes, in 2008 to major critical acclaim. After a four year break they have rejoined forces to release their second album Air-Fix which was recorded in a four day run in Gorbals Sound Studios, Glasgow giving the album a definite band sound.
