Gypsy super-trio Koshka – Oleg Ponomarev and Lev Atlas (violins) and Nigel Clark (guitar) – bring a seasonal flavour from Russia this December.

Their vibrant, enthralling Gypsy music, combining conservatoire rigour with sheer, wild Gypsy flair (plus more than a touch of wit and innovation) is interspersed with tales and anecdotes giving an insight into the traditions of winter and Christmas in their native Russia.

With a recently released new album, Koshka are breathtaking, dazzling musicians, the fiddles soaring with passion and precision as they scale ever dizzier heights of creativity and invention.

“Quite simply, this could be the finest violin you ever hear in your life”Washington Post
