#MusicNight4Josh is taking place to help raise vital funds for young Bury lad, Josh Wilson. At 12 years old Josh has a reoccurring brain tumour and severe neuromuscular disabilities and the level of care needed requires a fully adapted home and specialist equipment. Despite the daily challenges he faces, Josh continues to make the world and everyone he meets smile.

Supporting Josh on stage will be a stunning selection of music acts guaranteed to inspire and dazzle you from start to finish and beyond.

The Rainband

It is a huge honour to have the boys headline a very special line-up in support of Josh. Founded in December 2009 by lead singer Martin Finnigan and guitarist Phil Rainey (former session player for Peter Hook in Monaco), The Rainband combine jaw dropping, sun-kissed melodies with a harder, gritty edged live sound. Having toured with the likes of Ocean Colour Scene, Simple Minds and the Kaiser Chiefs, as well as reaching No. 9 in the UK independent singles chart with Rise Again, The band are currently finishing their debut album at Paul Weller’s recording studio, due for release this year.

Rock Choir

Rock Choir is the UK’s largest contemporary choir, with more than 16,000 members nationwide. Since it started eight years ago, Rock Choir has helped raise millions of pounds for charity. It’s also broken three Guinness World Records, been the subject of three-part ITV1 documentary The Choir That Rocks, and appeared regularly on national TV, including The One Show, The Paul O’Grady Show and the Alan Titchmarsh Show.

Kristyna Myles

Acclaimed British singer-songwriter Kristyna Myles honed her craft performing on the streets of Manchester and got her first break back in 2005 winning BBC Radio Five Live Busk Idol along with her guitarist Ben Williams. She released her debut single I’m Not Going Back in 2012 to critical acclaim.

Moore Marriott

Formed by the song writing and production partnership of Ian Bamford and Adam Speakman, the band will deliver a mix of original and cover songs to kick-off this very special evening of fine music in style. Moore Marriott‘s debut album Back Up & Bounce is somewhat of an undiscovered gem, packed with intelligent, feel good pop and melancholic strings. If you like infectious arrangements and soulful song-writing you may well be on the verge of a discovery here.
