The release of Cold Old Fire rocketed Lankum (formerly Lynched) into the traditional Irish music hierarchy. One unmistakable quality of the band is the sheer joy they have for singing and harmonising together. More particularly their research into the Street Ballads and Music Hall Songs of their home city always provides a joyous vocal riot whenever they perform.
Get a pint of the black stuff in hand and engross yourself for an hour of humour, anecdotes, songs and stories of Dublin with Lankum.
If you purchase a weekend ticket or a full Saturday ticket for this event, you will only pay £1 to attend the Big Whistle Festival workshops.
