Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced maker, you can experiment, play and immerse yourself in storytelling through fabric and thread. About Murron
Murron’s textile practice delves into the connection between nature, place and folklore, drawing on Celtic and Norse stories to create work that bridges the visible and invisible. Murron creates intuitive textile pieces rich in stitch, texture and colour, translating myths and symbolism found in nature into her work. Her passion for nature and storytelling shines through in her workshops, which are inspired by the natural world.
There will be an exhibition of textile pieces by Murron Fraser in the Mini Met space on Sun 22 & Sat 28 February, open 11am-4pm.
