Malinky are a five piece with members who hail from Antrim and Derbyshire they now unite a seasoned maturity with sparkling freshness, casting their musical net wider than ever.

Noted for haunting ballads delivered with powerful vocal work and rousing instrumentals, Malinky well and truly embody the tradition yet still embrace modernity.

Cormac Breatnach is a highly respected and revered musician with a reputation resulting from early band work with Donal Lunny’s Celtic Orchestra, Meristem and Deiseal. Countless collaborative projects for radio, television, film have ensued and his critically acclaimed solo album Musical Journey has firmly established him as the whistler’s whistler. We also welcome Martin Dunlea – an eminent guitarist who Cormac first started playing with in 1998. Collectively this is a most impressive combination.
