A monthly LGBTQ+ cabaret night hosted at The Met!
LOUD showcases the most fabulous of rising stars from across Bury and beyond. Expect tantalising musicians, side-splitting comedians, captivating dancers and a line-up of talented additions for your delight on a monthly basis. Thursdays have never been so exciting!
October’s event will feature Lionel Bitchie, Lizzie Norm and Night Thomas. Your host for the evening will be Mancunian writer, actor and activist Nathaniel J Hall, Artistic Director of Dibby Theatre.
Lionel Bitchie
Lionel Bitchie is the Geezer of Glamour, self proclaimed inventor of showbiz and international lover boy. He’s got the pipes of a karaoke demon and the moves to make you swoon.
Lizzie Norm
Lizzie Norm has finally found out what she’s good at; standing on stage and talking daft. She’s funny, frumpy and flabbergasted by her own dry northern wit, weirdness and comedic bent. Awarded third place at the prestigious SYTYF? Awards 2023 and has had her jokes and sketches heard on local and national BBC radio. Described as a “great comic”, “brilliant”, and “funny looking”, she just wants to make the world a happier place and make people laugh.
“She has daft jokes” Chortle
“A natural with obvious funny bones” Fest
