Learn to play the harmonica in this course tutored by former British blues harmonica champion Mat Walklate.

The harmonica is the most popular instrument in the world. It is versatile, portable and cheap. If you can breathe, you can make music.

This beginners course will take participants through the rudiments of harmonica-playing, covering basic techniques and concepts using blues, pop, folk, tv and movie themes, and even a little classical music.

Participants will need a diatonic harmonica in C.

Sessions run every Monday from January 15 to March 12 (excluding February 19).
