Learn to play the harmonica in this course tutored by former British blues harmonica champion Mat Walklate.
The harmonica is the most popular instrument in the world. It is versatile, portable and cheap. If you can breathe, you can make music.
This advanced course includes advice and guidance on how to improve existing techniques and skills, and acquire new ones. We cover improvisation, embouchure, vibrato, note-bending and a little music theory, exploring blues, folk, country, pop, rock, jazz, soul etc.
Participants will need a diatonic harmonica in C.
Sessions run every Monday from January 15 to March 12 (excluding February 19).
