Join us at The Met for this fun and relaxed course to find out more about writing for the stage.

Discover how to craft dialogue, where to start with creating compelling characters and the ins and outs of plotting.

Workshops will comprise of group discussions and individual writing exercises.

The group will work towards each writing their own short play (approx. 8-10 minutes) by the end of the course.

The course is for adults who are new to writing. No prior writing experience is needed.

PLEASE NOTE: Each week we’ll explore a different element of playwriting which builds on the previous sessions. With this in mind, we ask those who sign up to attend each session of the course, starting on Tuesday 3 March.
