Get A Round In brings together the best singer-songwriters for a Nashville style writers’ round.

This brand-new event at The Met features four artists sharing the stage to showcase their songwriting talent and tell the stories behind their music. Expect the very best of Greater Manchester’s acoustic talent.

This is pilot for what we hope will become a regular event at The Met.

September’s event features…

Grace Elizabeth Harvey

Grace Elizabeth Harvey

Grace Elizabeth Harvey is a singer-songwriter and cellist from Merseyside, with a propensity to ponder. Her music aims to captivate and communicate through intricate craft and virtuosic musicianship. After building her following over the last year, Grace has refined her sound and is eager to share it.

Coruja Jones

Coruja Jones

Dreamy, melancholic, indie-folk. Beautiful songs with soaring high notes, combined with intricate, delicate guitar work into cavernous reverbs, which take aim at your heart. Coruja has been championed by the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and toured with Grammy award winning singer-songwriter Joe Jackson.

“Deft and assured” Tom Robinson, BBC6 Music

Chloe Jones

Chloe Jones

Chloe Jones has been described as “a sensational singer-songwriter from Greater Manchester”. With a skill for storytelling combined with inimitable, soulful vocals, Chloe creates her own blend of mesmerising folk, Americana and country music.

Ben P Williams

Ben P Williams

The evening will be presented by Manchester based singer-songwriter Ben P Williams, whose songs have seen support from BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing. Moulding the classic song-writing sound of Paul Simon with the laid-back nature of Jack Johnson, Ben draws inspiration from the greats while injecting his own wit and imagination into lyrics and melodies which can’t help but bring a smile to your face.
