Welsh band Fernhill make new, beautifully lyrical and intense folk music which they have shared with audiences all over the world.

Described as ‘music from the edge of an island’, the band is fronted by Julie Murphy“a must hear, must see singer”(Time Out), who’s fans include music legends like Robert Plan and Danny Thompson. Julie is joined by Ceri Rhys Matthews, whose percussive and open guitar playing underpins their music, Tomos Williams on trumpet with subtle and inventive improvisations and Christine Cooper, an exciting, fresh and soulful fiddler.

Their most recent CD Canu Rhydd received much critical acclaim.
