March’s emerging artists showcase features Bury’s Urban Theory.

Urban Theory are a hard hitting, four-piece, indie-punk guitar band. Their music takes on a wide and varied range of influences and captures a raw, gritty live energy, that roams in and out of punk, new wave, and indie guitar rock with powerful vocals and catchy riffs.

Forming in 2016, they set about becoming a firm favourite on the Manchester scene selling out several notable venues and gaining numerous plays on BBC Introducing and XS Manchester.

The band consists of Alexander Quinn (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), leading the line, Jake Heath (lead guitar/vox), Josh Rowlands (bass guitar/vox), and Ellis Willoughby (drums/vox).

Songs with big choruses, youthful energy and dark secrets are likely to win more fans who want an adrenaline headrush with volume set to max!
