March’s emerging artists showcase features Bury’s Urban Theory.
Urban Theory are a hard hitting, four-piece, indie-punk guitar band. Their music takes on a wide and varied range of influences and captures a raw, gritty live energy, that roams in and out of punk, new wave, and indie guitar rock with powerful vocals and catchy riffs.
Forming in 2016, they set about becoming a firm favourite on the Manchester scene selling out several notable venues and gaining numerous plays on BBC Introducing and XS Manchester.
The band consists of Alexander Quinn (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), leading the line, Jake Heath (lead guitar/vox), Josh Rowlands (bass guitar/vox), and Ellis Willoughby (drums/vox).
Songs with big choruses, youthful energy and dark secrets are likely to win more fans who want an adrenaline headrush with volume set to max!

A name of ingenuity and an almost surreal creativity. These are only some of the words that can be used to describe these young people with a talent beyond their years. With a style influenced by various genres of music, their own unique sound is evident throughout. With an ever-building experience in live events, the chemistry within the band shows through their powerful performances.
The band consists of Mackenzie Nowland on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Millie Allwood on bass guitar and backing vocals, Felix Nowland on lead guitar, Tashana Dalhouse on lead rhythm guitar and Ife Adebanjo on drums.
