The Met’s annual comedy competition is back!
Don’t miss this chance to see six up-and-coming comedians perform and compete for a £600 prize, and the prestigious title of The Met’s Comedian of the Year.
Competing will be Ant Dewson, Charlie Davies, Charlie Lewis, Katie Tracey, Kent Cameron, and Tabish Akbar.
The evening will compered by Tez Ilyas, with the winner decided by an expert panel of judges.
A regular on BBC One’s Live At The Apollo, Tez Ilyas is also known for Man Like Mobeen (BBC Three) and Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Tez has also appeared on everything from The One Show to The News Quiz and, of course, his very own The Tez O’Clock Show on Channel 4. A phenomenally funny comedian, he refuses to shy away from trickier subjects yet never forgets that the laughs need to come thick and fast.
