Bury Light Night celebrates the heart beat of the town through arts and culture, presenting a unique programme of live music, performance, dance, storytelling, weird and wonderful art commissions and bustling markets.
As part of Light Night The Met presents Acid Brass performing in our Main Theatre from 8pm.
Fusing Acid House anthems with the sound of a traditional British Brass Band, Acid Brass have wowed audiences across Europe and beyond, from The Louvre in Paris to this year’s Ramsbottom Festival. Conceived by concept artist Jeremy Deller and performed by The Fairey Band from Stockport, enjoy club classics by 808 Stage, KLF, A Guy Called Gerald and more – brass band style!
