Bury Beer Festival — back with big flavours, great music, and even better company

Bury’s favourite celebration of local breweries, craft beer, and community vibes returns this November — and The Met’s historic Derby Hall is transforming into the borough’s ultimate weekend hangout.

For two full days, breweries from across Bury and the North West will be pouring their best cask, keg, and small‑batch creations. Whether you’re into bold IPAs, smooth stouts, or something a bit experimental, you’ll find plenty to taste, chat about, and enjoy with friends.

Not a beer‑only weekend? No problem. You’ll also find a cider & perry bar, a selection of gins, wines and cocktails to keep things interesting.

And because great beer deserves great food, Fratelli’s will be serving their legendary pizza all weekend — fresh, hot, and perfect with whatever’s in your glass. Expect proper New York-style slices, big flavours, and the kind of comfort food that keeps the good times rolling.

To keep the atmosphere flowing, we’ve lined up local DJs spinning throughout the weekend, bringing feel‑good energy, laid‑back grooves, and the perfect soundtrack to your festival experience. Expect a warm, social vibe that keeps the hall alive from the first pour to the last.

We’re keeping things sustainable too. The Met is committed to reducing environmental impact, so we won’t be using plastic glasses. You’ll be able to pick up a branded festival glass on the day.

A quick reminder to look after yourselves and each other: drink responsibly, plan your journey, and make use of the taxi bay right outside or nearby parking if someone in your group is the designated driver. We’ll also have plenty of tasty non‑alcoholic options available.
