Explore Bollywood Dance in our free family workshop and help us animate our Diwali parade.
Led by professional Bollywood dancer, teacher and choreographer Sharmista B, this fun and active workshop will introduce the styles and flavours of Bollywood.
Known for it’s upbeat and energetic vibe, Bollywood dance is a perfect blend of Indian culture and art. You can enjoy the beautiful hand movements inspired by classical dance forms and also the high energy folk dances like Bhangra and Garba.
In this two-hour session you will learn some of the basic steps of Bollywood and piece together a short routine to share in our Diwali parade on Sunday 30 October.
This workshop is open to any age, under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.
