A glittering night of seasonal treats and new music from Bella’s 2022 album Love Songs.

Celebrate the festive season in song with BBC Radio 2 Folk Singer of the Year Bella Hardy. Famed for her soaring and captivating voice, Bella inhabits her characters and spins her stories with an equal balance of strength and sensitivity.

Featuring local carols and well-loved classics such as Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, the show rings out with traditional favourites, and even a bit of Shakin’ Stevens, all of which feature on Bella’s much loved Christmas record Bright Morning Star.

From Edale in the Peak District, Christmas songs have long been Bella’s local speciality. People flock from far and wide to sing north Derbyshire’s local carols, and in these dark months, the villages are lit up with song to celebrate the season of hope and community.
