This event has been rescheduled to Saturday 27 April 2024. Ticket holders will be contacted regarding the new date.

Aoife’s management has asked us to share the following statement:

Following an extensive 18-month touring schedule, which left Aoife and Andy both physically and mentally exhausted, The Aoife Scott UK Tour for June 2023 is being postponed until April 2024. With recent changes in her management and need for a break we have taken the tough decision to look after everyone’s wellbeing, take a breath and give Aoife and Andy a chance to rest, repair and recuperate.

It’s time now for Aoife and Andy to step back, catch their breath, and allow themselves the opportunity to rest, heal, and recharge.

As an independent artist, Aoife holds immense gratitude for the unwavering support from her listeners, showgoers, promoters, and venues. She genuinely looks forward to reconnecting with each and every one of you when the tour is rescheduled.

Award winning folk singer Aoife Scott is a songwriter based in Dublin, Ireland.

Born into the legendary Black family, Aoife Scott is steadily rising to the top of the traditional and folk music scene and has long enjoyed success as an established artist in her own right.

Fragile and ethereal one minute and strong and vibrant the next, her dynamic and profound vocals explore the emotional depths of her lyrics, leaving the audience entranced.

Aoife has a unique sound. Her music has a broad creative scope but is largely influenced by her own roots in folk and traditional Irish music.

Following her highly celebrated debut album, Carry the Day, which was triumphantly launched at Temple Bar Tradfest in 2016 to rapturous acclaim, Aoife released her much anticipated second album HomeBird in January 2020 at the Button Factory at Temple Bar Trad Festival.

Produced by twelve time Grammy Award winner, banjo and guitar virtuoso Ron Block (Alison Krauss and Union Station, and Oh Brother Where Art Thou), her second album is in many ways a turning point in her musical legacy. Recorded in Nashville and Dublin, HomeBird is an impressive collaboration featuring the best of Irish folk musicians and Grammy award winning Bluegrass musicians Sierra Hull, Stuart Duncan and producer Ron Block.
