Aiming High is The Met’s specialist drama group for learning disabled and autistic young people. It is an accessible and fun workshop run by highly qualified practitioners.

Aiming High are back for another term of fun and creative drama activity.

Our groups use physical activities and drama games to create a safe place for young people to express themselves, encourage them to become more independent and improve team working, communication skills and confidence.

Performing in a short show every term, the young people learn to have focus, a goal and enjoy a big achievement.

We are continuing to operate in three different groups. These fit into a broadly age-based structure but are also based upon the needs of the individuals.

We are now able to accept new members into Aiming High. If you would like to enquire about a place in the group, please contact education@themet.org.uk for a chat about the induction process.

Parents and carers are welcome to request a copy of our Safeguarding policy by emailing education@themet.org.uk.
