Bury Beer Festival returns to The Met on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026, bringing together breweries from across Bury and the North West, with support from local businesses, for two days of great beer, music and good company.

Taking place in The Met’s historic Derby Hall, the festival will showcase a wide selection of beers from returning favourites and new additions, giving visitors the chance to discover new brews while celebrating and supporting local brewing, with vegan and gluten-free options also available.

  • Joining the festival for the first time is Vocation Brewery, an independent brewery based in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire, celebrated for its innovative approach to brewing and its range of distinctive, full-flavoured beers.
  • Brewsmith Beer, a family-run microbrewery based in Ramsbottom, will also be taking part, bringing its range of carefully crafted cask and keg ales, brewed with a focus on quality and flavour.
  • From Chorlton, Manchester, Tūn Brewing Company joins the line-up, with a passion for bringing people together through beer and celebrating the craft of brewing.
  • Wakey Wakey Brew Co, based at the Flying Horse Hotel and Brewhouse in Rochdale, will showcase its approach to brewing, combining traditional cask ales with modern styles and seasonal creations.
  • We Are Wolf Brewing is an independent craft microbrewery based in Uppermill, Saddleworth, combining traditional brewing heritage with a diverse range of modern craft beers.
  • Also taking part is Brightside Brewing Company, a brother-and-sister-run brewery based in Radcliffe, known for its passion for producing quality beers, from traditional cask ales to more contemporary styles.

This year’s festival is also receiving support from local businesses and individuals, including Barclays, Avoira, WHN Solicitors, Appleyard and Trew, Business Lodge, Exchange Utility, Rihbell, Bruntwood, Gateway4Asia, and Ian Warburton, a Patron of The Met, whose generous contributions help make the event possible while supporting The Met’s fundraising efforts and its work with local communities, artists and audiences.

Victoria Robinson, Chief Executive of The Met, said: “Bury Beer Festival is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and support local breweries, and we’re delighted to welcome both familiar faces and new breweries this year. We’re also incredibly grateful to the businesses supporting the event.”

“As one of our biggest fundraising events of the year, the festival helps support the work we do at The Met. We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone for a weekend of great beer, live music and good company.”

“Alongside the beers, visitors can enjoy music from local DJs, freshly made pizza from Fratelli’s and a selection of alternative drinks, including cider, gin, cocktails and wine.”

Bury Beer Festival takes place on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026, with afternoon and evening sessions starting at 12pm and 6pm on both days.
