Beer festivals are more than just gatherings – they’re celebrations of craftsmanship, community, and the rich tapestry of local culture. Rooted in tradition yet ever-evolving, these events bring people together to enjoy the artistry of brewing, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and support local businesses.
At The Met, the Bury Beer Festival is not only a highlight of our year, but also our main annual fundraising event. Every pint poured helps us raise vital funds to support our charitable work with artists, audiences, and communities across Bury, ensuring we can continue to deliver live performance, creative projects, and cultural experiences for everyone.
This November, our historic Derby Hall will once again welcome breweries, musicians, and visitors from near and far for two days of exceptional beer, live music, and a vibrant community atmosphere – all in support of The Met’s mission.

Sustainability at the Forefront
At The Met, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainability. In line with this commitment, we will not be using plastic glasses at the festival. Instead, branded glasses will be available for attendees, ensuring a more sustainable and enjoyable experience. We encourage all festival-goers to be mindful of their environmental footprint and to support our efforts in making the Bury Beer Festival a more sustainable event.
