Legendary singer Tony Christie has found international fame with hits like I Did What I Did For Maria, Walk Like A Panther, Las Vegas and of course the number one single (Is This The Way To) Amarillo.

Tony’s Irish roots (his grandmother and grandfather played in a ceilidh band) are celebrated on the album The Great Irish Songbook that came out in 2015. Collaborating with crossover folk band Ranagri, Tony produced a stunning set of traditional songs.

Following on from the success of The Great Irish Songbook, Tony Christie and Ranagri have recorded a second album together, The Great Irish Songbook Vol II. In celebration of this they will be doing a short tour together in November and December at a number of venues from Glasgow to Southampton.

Ranagri are Eliza Marshall, Donal Rogers, Eleanor Dunsdon and Jordan Murray, and are already well known and much loved to audiences in Greater Manchester. We are really pleased to be one of the few venues selected to host this short joint tour.
