Northern Irish experimental folk songwriter and producer Joshua Burnside deftly blends alt-folk and elements of the Irish folk song tradition with South American rhythms and Eastern European influences, creating a stormy world that shifts and swirls perspective like a lingering lucid dream.
He comes to The Met with songs from his acclaimed album Into the Depths of Hell. Released in 2020, this will be the first opportunity to hear these songs live.
Rescheduled from Friday 19 March 2021.
