Last updated 16 March
Ticket-holders are advised that The Met continues to follow the advice provided by Public Health England to ensure the safety of our visitors and staff in relation to the current Coronavirus outbreak affecting many areas of the UK.
As a small independent venue our intention is that all performances will currently go-ahead as scheduled. Any cancellations caused by the knock-on effects of the outbreak on artists will be listed below.
We have implemented a number of additional visible and non-visible measures to help reduce the risk of infection to anyone in the building.
We particularly remind ticket-holders of the importance of self-isolating if they are unwell, and to follow guidelines about regular hand-washing at all times inside and outside of The Met. The latest government guidelines state that anyone feeling unwell or displaying symptoms should self-isolate for 7 days.
Additional sanitising wipes are available in the building for public use, and staff will be taking extra steps to maintain the cleanliness of the building.
Staff and customer wellness and safety remains our highest priority during this time. We thank customers for their patience and co-operation. Our ticketing terms and conditions remain in place during this period; more information can be found in our FAQs: https://themet.org.uk/visit/faqs/
The latest updates from Bury Council on Coronavirus in the area can be found here.
