In these two incremental workshops voice specialist Beth Allen will offer twenty five people a way of working with their own voices that takes into consideration the whole potential of their natural voice, spoken and sung and expressive.
The first day on January 27 will explore body, breath, expression and end with a big sing.
The second on March 3 will build on the first by offering extensions activities looking at performance and connection to language… and ending with a big sing!
Both workshops will include elements of vocal improvisation.
The workshops are open to anyone wanting to explore their voice further… whether they have ever learnt anything about their voice before or not. It is open to anyone who might want to make an initial inquiry or anyone wanting to find fresh inspiration.
This workshop won’t tell you how to sing or offer solo singing opportunities. You will be very welcome in this workshop if you feel you have any challenges and all challenges will be treated with respect and a spirit of adventure.
