“…a sonic phenomenon you have to see and hear to believe…. They’re a band to watch in 2011.”The Guardian

Acappella stars The Magnets are one of the must see acts on the current British music scene. Literally a ‘six-man sound machine’, they bring their glorious harmonies and jaw-dropping beatboxing to The Met for the first time this autumn, hot from a first major stage appearance at the Glastonbury Festival and high profile appearances on Comic Relief and the T-Mobile ‘Life’s for Sharing’ acappella flash-mob commercials.

This is a show that will change the way you think about vocal harmony music. Highlights include a sultry Poker Face by Lady Gaga, an electrifying mash up of ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way’ by Lenny Kravitz and Fat Boy Slim’s ‘Weapon of Choice’, a sun soaked ‘Girls and Boys’ by Blur, and an incredible medley of movie themes from A-Z, all delivered via a multiplicity of styles and vocal stunts, cool moves and superb theatrics, but absolutely no musical instruments.

“Talent in abundance and a highly original, note-perfect act.”Metro
