It’s half-term in Bury from May 31 – June 4, and we have three fantastic family activities to keep you and your kids entertained.

If you’ve been missing warm hugs during the pandemic then you’ll definitely want to see How The Koala Learnt To Hug, a charming family musical which explains how the adorable Australian creatures learned to love a cuddle. Based on the best selling book, you can catch this show for ages 3+ on Mon 31 May.

Wed 2 Jun brings our latest Half-term Drama Day an all-day activity for 5-10 year olds where they can play drama games, improve their acting skills and have fun. The theme of May’s event is Shipwrecked!, and children attending will have the chance to explore a desert island, meet pirates, and create their own stories of being a castaway!

Finally, if you’re not quite ready to join us at The Met yet then we have a great activity for you to create for yourself. Another Planet is an audio experience for an adult and child (ages 7+) to share together. Buy a ticket and we’ll mail you everything you need to go on an interplanetary adventure in your local park or green space.
